I quite often wonder if I’d be a bit better at life if I were a kitten rather than a 20 year old girl. I usually come to the conclusion that yes, I would be. Supposedly a university student, I very much like dozing in patches of sunlight, preferably with a big pair of headphones attached to my ears.
I’m currently letting the years pass me by in Hampshire, occasionally studying for a law degree, mostly dancing around like a lunatic and pretending to be Kate Bush/Florence Welch/a wide variety of other such people.
Yes: The Sunday Times, croissants with raspberry jam, the music that I deem worthy to write about, vodka, Audrey Hepburn, languages, accents, wooden floors, my bed, eyeliner, High Fidelity – the book more so than the film, gigs and festivals, travelling to anywhere with friends, roadtrips, nostalgia, piano, bad attempts at pub quizzes, photos, loud singalongs, making clothes, fields in summer, fields in the rain
No: Coldplay, Coldplay fans, everything about seafood, looming deadlines, the smell of cooked breakfast, alarm clocks, Monday morning feeling, Nick Hornby books post-About a Boy, job interviews, coldsores, not having any money, student debt, non-matching underwear, my failed culinary attempts, freckles
